D. Michael Pehlke, M.D.

Dr. Pehlke grew up in Southern California before attending Harvard College, where he completed his undergraduate education in 1968. He was then accepted into medical school at Duke University and earned his doctorate in 1972. Dr. Pehlke's post-doctoral training included an internship and residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical School, where he was chief resident, as well as a research position at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute/National Insititutes of Health in Maryland. He then completed a dermatology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. This was followed by three years as a member of the University of Washington faculty.

Dr. Pehlke has been in private practice in Yakima, Washington since 1981. He was president of the Washington State Dermatology Association from 1997 to 1998, and also served as the president of the Yakima County Medical Society in 1999. His professional memberships include many state and local medical societies as well as the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Phlebology.

Dr. Pehlke is board certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington.

In his personal time, Dr. Pehlke enjoys gardening, fly-fishing, and most of all being a grandpa (aka "Papa").

Patricia A. Nichols, PA-C

Patricia A. Nichols, PA-C, earned a B.S. degree in Biology in 1986 and then worked in a hospital and laboratory for 12 years. She then enrolled in the University of Washington's MEDEX program and graduated in 2000. She worked in family practice for four years before joining Yakima Dermatology in 2004. A woman of integrity, Patty is extremely comprehensive in her approach to meeting the needs of her patients. A great sense of humor and a fun disposition, Patty is a huge asset to Yakima Dermatology

Belinda

Belinda, "B" is a hard working lady with an extensive history and knowledge in the medical field since 1972. She manages our schedule and patient charts. She is a true delight to be around and we are blessed with her warm and contagiously friendly nature

Tricia, M.A.

Tricia is a medical assistant. Tricia is a go-getter and a dedicated, hard worker with a willingness to learn.  She is always up for a challenge. Tricia has worked in the medical field for 12 years and is a valuable asset to our team.
